The Story of All Stories

Our Universe is ancient and we are so very young in comparison.

Are you ready for an experience of deep space and time? Check out this video.
Narrated by Brian Cox, Carl Sagan, and David Attenborough, and developed, edited with music, and enhanced with special effects by melodysheep, this video takes photos humanity has gathered from sources like NASA and attempts to help us understand the journey of 13.8 billion years that brought us to the current day.
For me, I watch this from time to time to contemplate the age of the Universe, and how deep time, how long it has taken for us to arrive at this moment. Humbling to be sure, but also magnificent… and it helps me to appreciate our brief existence all the more.

“On a cosmic time scale, human history is as brief as the blink of an eye.”

–melodysheep

Follow the unfolding Universe… starting with the big bang and culminating in the appearance of homo sapiens. This journey compresses all 13.8 billion years of time into 10 minutes.

Such an amazing and sacred story…
